PUMP & Pittsburgh Young Professionals (PYP) are co-sponsoring this year’s Series. “Discover Pittsburgh – LIVE” is scheduled for next Wednesday, May 12th from 6 – 8pm at the Grey Box Theater in Lawrenceville.

29th Annual Celebrate the Season Parade in PittsburghDate: 11/28/2009

Bring the whole family downtown and enjoy Pittsburgh's annual Celebrate the Season Parade. You'll have lots of School Marching Bands, beautiful Holiday Floats, local Celebrities and of course Santa Claus. It's the perfect way for families to begin the holiday season.
Celebrate the Season Parade festivities begin at 9:00 AM. Parade begins at Mellon Arena traveling down Fifth Avenue, and ending at Point State Park.
Highlights of this year's parade include Curious George, Winnie The Pooh, Pittsburgh Parrote, Stely McBeam, area bands, and stars like Grand Funk Railroad's Mark Farner. There will also be inflatable balloons such as the Eat 'n Park Smiley Cookie, Macy's Stars and Toy Soldier.
